Ice Fishing
Photo here is of Jeannie Ballantyne, one of the avid fisherwomen of the community, her husband Eli will probably be down soon to visit her ... again. Many of the community members enjoy this winter activity.
Fun Night
One of the many events that take place during fun-night. Participants here are blind folded, and partners feed each other pudding. As you can see to the left, things can get pretty messy.
Men's Jigging
Jigging is one of the King and Queen Trapper events. There's some mighty fine foot work happening here. Heehaw!
Women's Jigging contest
Buckskin and jigging competitions are part of the King and Queen Trapper events. Photo of the ladies, looks like some don't even touch the floor while they're struttin' their stuff.
Snowmobile drags
Snowmobile drag racing is one of the many events that happen during the Carnival. As you can see these machines can take off quite aggressively with the skis pointing up.
